We do not collect any personal information from our Users or visitors at Virtual Ventures or any of our affiliated sites without their consent, nor will we ever sell any collected information. What information does FI collect from me?

FI collects information from different parts of our various web sites. Some personal information is gathered when you register. The more information you volunteer, the better we are able to customize your experience. Once registered, your email address and password will provide you with access to the FI community. In addition to registration, we may ask you for personal information at other times, including (but not limited to) when you sign up for activities or special promotions sponsored by FI and/or our business partners; when you post information in any of the FI blogs or forums; and when you report a problem with our site or services. If you contact FI we may keep a record of your correspondence. FI may also occasionally ask Users to complete surveys that we use for research purposes. How does FI use my information?

FI's primary goal in collecting personal information is to specifically identify each member of our community and provide the best service possible for each. In addition to the use of personal information to operate the site, FI also tracks some anonymous information which does not personally identify you, but may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the services we offer. Generally, this information concerns activity monitoring which is collected through "traffic data" and may entail the use of "IP addresses" and "cookies". When we show leader board rankings of FI Users, we will use your unique member screenname to identify you. Please ensure that all information included in your sceenname is acceptable to you for public display. Users can change their screennames by editing their member profile.

Is my personal information secure?

With respect to security, personal information collected by FI is stored on secure servers not available to the public. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

With whom does FI share my personal information?

No one. Information provided for on-line registration, surveys, promotions or other site features will be used only for the purposes stated for such activity. FI users will logon with their unique login ID and password with each use, ensuring their security and verifying their identity. Users are advised to not share their login IDs and passwords with others. This is our privacy assurance to Users of our website:

1. Users will have access to their accounts and will have the ability to modify personal information.

Posts to the Virtual Ventures Community, FI Marketplace and Blogs
The community marketplace forums and blogs are open areas where ideas, comments and information can be shared by FI Users. Once information is posted to one of these areas it becomes available to the public. Do not post any information in these areas that you do not want others to see. While we do take reasonable steps to monitor the content of our marketplace and blog areas, we can not guarantee that information displayed will not be offensive to you or others. Please note that all posts become property of FI.
